The DELIGHT was born in a very specific context: the X-Alps, where every gram counts and equipment must meet extreme demands. The first generations were ultra-light harnesses designed for hike and fly competitions.
Over time, the product philosophy has evolved. The DELIGHT has gradually become a more accessible harness, capable of supporting a wider range of pilots.
Since the third generation, the objective has been clear: to offer a reassuring, comfortable and easy-to-use harness. The DELIGHT 5 fully embodies this approach.
Previous generations steadily gained in comfort and features, which also led to an increase in weight. With the DELIGHT 5, the design team took the opposite approach: reducing weight while maintaining the level of comfort and protection achieved in the previous generation. The result: around 300 g less than the DELIGHT 4, nearly a 10 percent reduction, with no compromise on durability or support.

The DELIGHT series is built around a distinctive structure designed to prioritize stability. The seat plate provides clear feedback and firm support, allowing the pilot to stay focused on their trajectory without being disturbed by unwanted movements.
The harness acts as a filter between the pilot and the wing. It smooths out the feedback, delivering a more relaxed flying experience, especially with modern gliders that tend to be highly responsive.
The DELIGHT 5’s enveloping cocoon is designed to provide precise and long-lasting support. The seating keeps the pilot securely in place, enhancing the feeling of safety and reducing fatigue on long flights.
This ergonomic design makes it well suited to pilots flying high-performance gliders, as well as those looking for their first cross-country cocoon harness.

The DELIGHT 5 delivers a high level of safety within its category. The full-length PLASTAZOTE© back protector protects the pilot from the neck down to the lower thighs, using high-performance structural foam that is effective immediately after deployment, regardless of the angle of impact. The stability of the structure makes it easier to control the wing when conditions become more demanding.
This fifth generation also marks a step up in terms of details and ergonomics. The DELIGHT 5 features several improvements, including a magnetic cockpit, a speedbag, an optimized reserve pocket, as well as better integration of accessories and more refined finishes.
These improvements allow pilots to stay focused on their flights while benefiting from a high level of comfort.
