High-Level A with B-Upgrade
The Pioneer 4 represents the high-level A segment: high performance, generous safety reserves and precise, balanced handling.
The special feature: The acceleration path can be adjusted using the speed limiter, which can be installed or removed in just a few steps. With the speed limiter, the setup remains clearly A-oriented. Without the speed limiter, the Pioneer 4 develops noticeably more speed and dynamics in accelerated flight – positioning itself as a basic intermediate in EN/LTF B.
The Pioneer 4 combines two setups in one glider:
A-setup for a safe entry and comfortable flying experience – B-setup for more performance when it’s time to take the next step in flying.
Pioneer 4: Fly with A, then unlock B.
- High-level EN A with B-Boost: Plenty of power with reserves in the A-setup; noticeably more speed and dynamics in accelerated flight without a speed limiter.
- Mini ribs for improved performance: perfect trailing edge for noticeably better glide and speed.
- Extremely durable fabric: PU coated on the inside, siliconized, lightweight 20D fabric on the outside.
- Precise diagonal ribs for high profile accuracy
- Easy-to-sort – Line layout with clearly labeled carrying straps
- Shark Nose Design: Dimensionally stable profile nose with robust, replaceable plastic rods
- High-quality, smooth-running pulleys; ball-bearing mounted on the brake line.
